Group classes require a strict attendance and the strong wish to learn new repertoires.

Breathing, posture, projection, artistry, every week you will be singing on stage in front of the group as soon as you are ready.

The repertoire includes opera, musical theater, art songs, folk songs.

  • Classes prepare students to audition, to participate in concerts when a sufficient level of practice, repertoire learned and artistry is reached.

  • The participation to the concerts of the school is determined by Mrs. Audray for each student.

  • The participation in the opera house season is not linked to the singing classes even if some students are invited to participate.

  • No student missing a dress rehearsal is allowed to participate in a concert.

  • Students who not follow the dress code at the dress rehearsal or at the concert cannot participate in a concert.

Repertoire learning for singers: this class is offered to all registered singers.

The pianist accompanist will provide individual coaching on language, solfege of the arias, tempos, artistry, to students in order to prepare their repertoire for Mrs Audray's class and concerts.

Singers not registered in the singing classes of the Southold Opera do not have access to this class.
